Milk face!

Finally... We gave Aidan rice cereal! I watered it down with some milk. He liked it, and made a huge mess of course! He kind of got antsy because it was watery and he probably would've eaten more if it were thicker. So, tomorrow I'll go for a thicker consistency.

Aidan lives for...smiling for mommy!

Check out his shirt... all smiles tonight. I finally figured out how to capture that smile. It turns out, the red light on the front of the camera always distracts him. So, I covered it up, and had him look at me off to the side, and it worked! It's like when Lot interviews people, he has them look at him, not the camera : )

He did it!

See the cute boy, full of smiles... He was having so much fun... But in a blink...I turned away for a second, and he flipped over to his belly! Look at this surprised look on his face. Aidan's doing a great job holding himself up like this. He actually turned over all by himself! Yay!

Better after Bath Time

Aidan still cries a little when we give him a bath. You can see here, he's all smiles when it's over and his towel is on his head.

It looks like Aidan is flying here! He's having so much fun, I'm glad I caught this smile on camera.

Playtime is tiring!

Aidan was playing, and fell asleep on his playmat. He loves his thumb! I swear, all that thumb sucking is making his nails grow and grow! I probably clip his nails twice a week!Yum, this hand tastes great! I took this picture the other day. It goes well with the thumb sucking one. He likes to lick. All he needs is some salt, and a lime or a lemon.. Wait! He's a baby. He can't get his thumb far enough in there! Sometime Aidan gags himself because he jabs his fingers or thumb in his mouth. And, he just keeps on doing it. Silly boy!

I think Aidan uses this "bar" that goes over the top of his playmat to scoot himself off of it. Then, I caught him, and he pulled his hands to his mouth to act all shy and innocent.

4 months - 14 pounds 2 feet tall!

Two feet sounds so much bigger than 24 inches doesn't it?

Aidan is getting so good at holding himself up. I put him on my stomach and he sits up really well. He laughs a lot when he's sitting up like this. Don't know what it is but he has so much fun and he's so content just sitting like this. Guess he's saying he doesn't want to be on his back : )
I couldn't decide between these two pictures. He's just sitting there staring blankly at the camera in the top picture. He doesn't even notice the cute monkey next to him.
I like his chubby cheeks in the bottom picture. You can see the chubby rolls in his thighs.

Oh - he's finally in size 2 diapers! His doctor says he's growing at a good pace and he's healthy.

Smiley Boy!

It's still hard to try to capture a smile. I had to sneak in the top of Aidan's playmat to get this picture. He's kinda smiling, kinda taken by surprise because the leaf just flashed a light at him. Look at his little belly and chubby legs. Aidan kicks his socks off. It's from all the squirming when he's on his back, he kicks around and moves on the playmat and his socks come off.

Bumpers gone, Swaddle almost gone

We took the bumpers out of Aidan's crib a while ago. He moves around a lot in there now. When he tries to fall asleep, he sometimes kicks the swaddle off. You can see, it's basically on one foot. But, he's sleeping peacefully.
