First Baseball game - the Reds won!

Well, he fell asleep before the first pitch!... but it gave us a chance to eat hot dogs and peanuts. Luckily, it was only a nap... He woke up in time to see the Reds score!

It got a little chilly, but he stayed awake!

The Reds won 3-0... Broke the Astros winning streak.
Let's say Aidan was their lucky charm.

It's a Jumperoo!

This is the best invention for babies - ever! Aidan's looking at me here, saying, mom leave me alone - get that camera out of my face!
Right now, he mostly sways back and forth instead of jumping, but he'll get the hang of it.

Clothing Optional

I was trying to get Aidan dressed, but he was having too much fun wearing just his diaper... And noticing his feet...
And kicking out his legs!

Little slugger

It was in the 80's today... perfect excuse to break out Aidan's baseball outfit. His buttons are little baseballs!
We did go to the park to enjoy the weather- unfortunately no pictures from there. Next time, I'll take pictures.
Playing with his little elephant in the chair.

Daddy, you're funny!

Aidan was having so much funny sitting on his Daddy's chest...
He just kept making him laugh. His hair is spiked here...

Who can say "no" to this face...

For some reason, Aidan loves leaning all the way back and having his head upside down. It makes feeding time kinda hard. I'm surprised his face isn't red from all the blood rushing to his head. Silly boy!

Yum...pureed green stuff!

See the bowl...he ate it all- well, the stuff that made it in his mouth and not on the apron or all over his face. Aidan says "Later gator!"

See my feet mom!

After I changed his diaper, he was playing in the crib, and I guess "admiring" his feet. : )
Here...pulling up the onesie, and sticking it in his mouth - like everything else these days. At least it's clean.

How sweet... he can fall asleep without a swaddle now. I think he was kicking and fussing trying to fall asleep, and that's how his feet ended up sticking out here.

First Easter

What a cute little Easter bunny! Well, not really bunny ears, but the closest thing we had.Maybe he's not big enough for the swing yet This time next year, he'll really be able to go looking for Easter egs...

Silly Boy!

Look at Aidan's new trick. Not sure how he did this. Guess he was kicking around at the toys that hang from his playmat, and his foot went right through it. His ankle is just propped up, hanging.
It didn't seem to phase him though. He kept moving around, like his foot belonged in there.
Now that Aidan can grab things, they all go straight to his mouth. He's licking this rattle like it's an ice cream cone! I'm glad he didn't try to stick the whole thing in his mouth!

Aidan's first encounter with the Easter Bunny...

See Aidan's new bunny! See Aidan bring the bunny up to his face... Aidan wants the carrot! See Aidan throw the bunny to the side...

Nice bunny...

Okay, done with the bunny... Get down to the feet bunny!

Okay, so it's not the "real" Easter Bunny from the mall.

New noises...

Aidan makes this squealing, high-pitched scream now. It's his newest babbling. He does it a lot in the morning, when he wants to talk to wake me up for the day. I tried to get it a little on camera.

Aidan's new favorite thing to do...

He loves sticking out his tongue now. He even does it when he sees us. I tried it in front of the mirror, and when I stuck out my tongue, he stuck his out, and touched my cheek with his tongue- slobbery! He's so sweet.

Hanging Out...

Check out his jelly belly! See, he is a good eater, it shows. Yeah, Aidan is still confused by that red light on the camera. He just blankely stares at it. Oh well. I love his cut little toes in this picture.

5 months and 8 days!!!

Here are some pictures from last week- Aidan hit the 5 month mark! He's getting better at sitting up, and loves to drool. Now, he'll gnaw on our fingers or knuckles if he gets a chance. Guess he's teething.

He's wearing Orange and Blue- wishing the Illini had made it to the Final Four, even past the first round! Oh well, there's always next year.
