Little explorer

How did you do that?!

He's multi-tasking now! Not quite sure how the bucket got on Aidan's head. He didn't seem to mind though. He kept trying to push his toy. He's standing! Well, holding on to something, but practically standing. Here's another reason we need to babyproof! Now!

Having fun...

Aidan loves crawling under his Jumperoo. He gets his toys everywhere, and he's always looking for something new to play with! Who needs to bounce in the Jumperoo, when you can sit in front of it and play?

Future Lakers Point Guard!

Aidan is 9 months old! He saw his doctor yesterday. He is 29 inches long. He's about two and a half feet tall!
That puts him in the 75th percentile. He's taller than 75% of babies his age! His daddy is proud, we have a future NBA All Star! He weighs just under 20 pounds. So, even though he looks like a cute, chubby baby, his doctor says he's "lean" and he will be tall!

As you can see, he found a new toy! How appropriate! Doesn't it look like he's squatting low and dribbling the basketball? See, his left arm is out, ready to block, and play keep-away.
Then, he just started hitting the ball. Hmm... he just couldn't get it to bounce on the carpet. It's good practice though, for when he hits the court!
I tried really hard to keep him from licking it. I failed! Yuck! He tried to bite the dirty ball! Yeah, he tries to push it away. What a fun toy!

What's up mom? Want to play HORSE? How about a quick game of 21? Okay, guess I'll wait for daddy to get home. He'll play ball with me!

Exhaustion sets in! I set him in here for a few minutes, I came back and he was asleep! He loves his new "aldergator."

Lions and Tigers and Gorillas!

Aidan's first trip to the zoo... That's a gorilla in he background. It's a mommy holding her baby! How cute!

Aidan really didn't know to look at the animals. Oh well!

Yep... a tiger back there too! She has four tiger cubs.

He loved this waterfall. He kept turning around to look at it- he wanted to go in it!

What do I do with this, mom?

Yes little boy, that's your tongue! You taste with it... or lick with it... or slobber with it... or pull it... just don't bite it - that hurts! This is a book... to read... look at... learn... play with... slobber on... bite! This is a spoon... to eat with... to lick... to bite... to play with... to smile at!
Mommy... to jump on... pull her hair...smile at... slobber on... bite!... and to love!
